Many organisations aim to give something extra to their participants over the Winter break and for the past 3 years the ALMT has provided additional funding to key UK partners at Christmas.  This has been particularly important since the Cost of Living crisis and is targeted at families who are really struggling financially.

This year we are supporting the following four excellent charities and each contribution (up to £5,000) will be matched by ALMT Co-Funders*:

  • Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) – London – Supporting AFRIL’s Saturday Supplementary School with food vouchers and gifts for 120 refugee families.
  • Norah’s Northpole – Sunderland – Providing Christmas gifts for over 3,000 children in poverty across the city, distributed through schools to the most disadvantaged families.
  • Miracles; Feed London – London – Backing Feed London’s holiday food boxes for families living in poverty and experiencing extreme need.
  • Acorns Project – Newcastle – Providing heating and food vouchers for parents and children seeking refuge from domestic violence
