What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

Huge scale urbanisation is leaving a lost generation of children in Beijing with no education as parents are forced to leave them behind as they go out to find work. Regulations whereby schooling is provided in the place of birth and not where the families move to means that children of migrant families are missing out on their education.

Formally known as Compassion for Migrant Children, Included is a large scale project which provides education and teacher training and life vocational skills to more than 1000 children a week. ALMT supported the After Schools Programme which included two Angus classrooms. The project supports children through homework tutoring whilst in a safe environment. After their homework is finished the children take part in creative and social activities including sport. Included offers a wide range of services through its centres including teacher training, life skills and preparation for the job market. The project is also supported by corporate social responsibility donations made by a wide variety of companies and trusts.
