What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

With support from guests at the ALMT Burns Night gala dinner, funds were pledged to support the mother’s self-help groups in Zambia.

Mothers of young people attending the ALMT football coaching programme can start their own businesses and earn a living by accessing capital with low interest rates as well as business skills training. Once their businesses are up and running the women can pay back what they have borrowed. This way of working has been so successful that last year 82% of women supported were able to pay for their children to go to school.
