Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.
Since the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, Epic Partners has seen significant decline in the opportunities on offer for young people in the St Ann’s and Sneinton area of Nottingham. This lack of choices is leading to risky and negative behaviour.
The ALMT is excited to be supporting a new Youth Engagement programme which provides group discussions, social interaction and counselling therapy sessions for young people. Epic staff members offer mentoring support aiming to build self esteem and resilience. Young people are also able to be enrolled in Sports Leadership Qualifications and offered employability skills training (such as CV writing and mock interview techniques). This holistic approach prepares and supports young people into their next steps, whether this is employment, volunteering or further education. Epic Partners is an experienced education-led partnership with an excellent track record of delivering high quality learning opportunities and support for children, families and their community. They work closely with local people and organisations to tackle the issues faced by families, particularly those living in deprivation.
