What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

Young people who have experienced care do not necessarily have access to the support networks available to other young people. At a young age, they have to cope with a range of challenges relating to housing and financial management on their own. Many young people have to cope with past trauma, high levels of anxiety, isolation and loneliness – all of which have a significant impact on their ability to achieve. By providing tailored life coaching and link-up groups, Become will improve resilience, mental health and soft-employability skills for young people so that they have the confidence to make a smooth transition to independence.
