What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

Training more women to become teachers in Afghanistan is essential because fathers will remove their daughters from school at puberty, unless they are taught by female teachers. This is a real problem, as without female teachers, many girls will be denied an education. Guests at the annual ALMT Burns Night gala dinner pledged £135 to send a teacher on a training course to help improve the quality of education in Afghanistan.
